The cost to bring clean water to an entire village is $50,000. The cost to bring solar energy to an entire medical center, orphanage or school is $18,000.

With no energy for light or to power a refrigerator to keep vaccines and medicines, the two nurses are struggling to treat the thousands of patients from the surrounding 11 villages day and night.

Chipala Village has a community of 36,000 people with only one source of dirty contaminated water -- a 2 meter deep well. The well is currently threatening the lives of the entire village & forcing women and children to travel up to 10 times per day to fetch water.
