The Challenge
Our solution and cost
The solution is simple. A one-time cost of $20,000 will electrify an entire school or medical center using iA’s Energy Box.
A one-time cost of $65,000 covers the cost for the construction of a large solar water pumping system in a village of a minimum of 3,000 people and includes the following 8 steps.

100% of every donation goes to project costs, as our overhead is fully covered. Thanks to our UN-award-winning Remote Monitoring system, our donors have a satellite view of the village and track live, the amount of water pumped or solar produced at any given time.

Team & Contractors
iA has over 130 full-time employees, mainly engineers and works with 40 local contractors across Africa. At each water project, 10 community members are hired and paid by the contractor and will ensure the sustainability of the project following its completion.
Innovation: Africa has Special Consultative Status at The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and has received multiple awards, including the “Innovation Award” from the UN.
