Damani Primary School

Total Impact: 146 proplr

Date of Installation: October 2013

Summary: Damani Primary School is one of the smallest schools in the Limpopo district of South Africa. Because the government allocates funds according o the number of learners, Damani School has been forced to rely on the gracious giving of others. The dilapidated school building served the poorest of the poor, meaning that many children are unable to afford uniforms. Thanks to the partnership of Project People Foundation who provided uniforms and shoes, and Innovation: Africa who installed solar energy, the 146 pupils of Damani School are now able to attend an illuminated school in their new uniforms.
